|“Ak Zhol” DPK and “Just Russia” Party signed Memorandum of Cooperation|

“Ak Zhol” DPK and “Fair Russia” Party signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The signing ceremony took place within the framework of the meeting of the Ak Zhol leadership with the Secretary of the Presidium of the Central Council of the Fair Russia Party, the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the 6th convocation, the Vice-President of the Socialist International Alexander Romanovich. From the Kazakh side, the memorandum was signed by Yerlan Barlybayev, the Deputy Chairman of the party.
The parties agreed to develop comprehensive inter-party relations, interregional contacts, to cooperate in political issues of mutual interest, to strive for rapprochement and coordination of positions on topical issues of the international agenda, and others.
During the meeting the representatives of the parties shared information about the activities of their organizations and their parliamentary factions, on specific work on the implementation of the main directions of political programs.
In his speech, Azat Peruashev told the Russian guest about the President Nazarbayev’s article “Looking into the Future: Modernizing the Public Consciousness”, paying special attention to the issues of openness of consciousness, attraction of knowledge and technologies, preservation of national identity.
“The preservation of national identity and the desire for progressive change are capable of becoming non-material motivators for our further development”, - he noted and dwelt on the history of our statehood in more detail.
The head of the Ak Zhol Party presented to Mr Romanovich the medal “550th Anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate”, that was established in 2016 to the memorable date by the Ak Zhol Party and the Association of Historians of Kazakhstan.
