Parliamentary fraction of “Ak Zhol” Democratic Party established inter-party interaction with the ruling party of Latvia “Vienotiba”. At the invitation of “Vienotiba” the fraction delegation visited Riga, where they met with Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis, Latvian Parliament Speaker Solvita Aboltinja and leader of “Vienotiba” Dzintars Zakis. On May 29, 2012 it was signed a Cooperation Agreement provides for broad cooperation in the exchange of information on best practices in the formation of business climate, taxation, establishing joint ventures with a high innovation component. In addition, the delegation agreed with Latvian colleagues on interaction and support of Kazakhstan's position in the European Parliament (There 9 Latvian MPs in the European Parliament).
In November 2012, the Fraction delegation visited Bulgaria at the invitation of the “GERB” party. “Ak Zhol” delegation took part in a meeting of the Bureau of the Parliamentary Fraction of the ruling party “GERB” (Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria). The delegation got acquainted with the work of the fraction and regional branches of the party. The delegation held meetings with the Minister of Labour and Social Policy of Bulgaria Tautou Mladenov, Chairman of the parliamentary fraction of GERB Krasimir Velchev , Representative of the Commission on Foreign and Defense Policy, a MP from GERB Janko Zdravkov, MEP Vladimir Uruchev, Executive director of the Bulgarian Investment Agency Borislav Stefanov, leaders of a number of regions and cities.
During the meetings the sides discussed a wide range of issues from cooperation in the European Parliament to support private enterprise in investment, tax and industrial policies. For reference, the Republic of Bulgaria in the European Parliament is represented by 17 members, 7 of which are members of GERB. Following the meetings, it was signed a Cooperation Agreement between the “Ak zhol” Democratic Party of Kazakhstan and GERB Party and their parliamentary fractions.
On March 9, 2012 during a meeting with a delegation of the Communist Party of China there were discussed the questions of bilateral cooperation.
On November 24, 2012 members of the fraction met with Tomas Lanz the deputy head of the ruling fraction “Civic Platform” in the Poland Parliament. The structure of the Platform includes 270 members of both houses, 25 of them are MEPs. There were discussed issues of mutual cooperation in the field of parliamentary fractions and parliamentary evolutionary development of democracy.
On December 14, 2012 it was a meeting with foreign journalists.
On March 9, 2013 there were discussions on cooperation between the parliamentary opposition and the government, corruption, taxation of priority sectors of economy and social sphere of cooperation between the “Ak zhol” party and the Christian Democratic Party of Slovakia.
